روزمره. جایگزین رایج در روایت داستان و ارتباطات. کمتر رسمی از relate است.
Everyday. Common substitute almost always in storytelling and communication contexts—'She told the story' works well. Less formal than 'relate'.
رسمی/ادبی. معمولاً برای شرح دقیق داستانها یا وقایع، مخصوصاً در کتاب یا مستندها استفاده میشود. کمتر در مکالمات روزمره کاربرد دارد.

رایج. معمولاً وقتی درباره اتصال ایدهها یا اشیا صحبت میشود جایگزین relate میشود، مثل «این ایدهها وصل میشوند». برای روایت داستان استفاده نمیشود.
همدلی کردن یا درک احساسات و شرایط دیگران
to feel sympathetic or understand someone else's feelings or situation
«میتوانم شرایط دشوار تو را درک کنم.»
“I can relate to your difficulties.”
«او به خوبی با کودکان ارتباط برقرار میکند.»
“She relates well to children.”
رسمی/رایج. دقیقتر و عاطفیتر از relate است و روی درک احساسات تأکید دارد.
Formal/common. More specific and emotional than 'relate', focusing on understanding feelings rather than just facts.
Common. Can often replace 'relate' when talking about linking ideas, people, or things, e.g. 'These ideas connect.' Not used for storytelling.
