تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
فنی/رسمی. 'محور' اغلب در زمینههای ریاضی یا علمی برای خطی که چیزی حول آن میچرخد یا خط مرجع استفاده میشود. با 'خط مرکزی' قابل جایگزینی است وقتی به یک خط مرکزی تقارن یا چرخش، به ویژه در نقشههای مهندسی، اشاره دارد. 'خط مرکزی شفت' معادل 'محور شفت' است.
Technical/formal. 'Axis' is often used in mathematical or scientific contexts for a line around which something rotates or a reference line. It's interchangeable with 'centerline' when referring to a central line of symmetry or rotation, especially in engineering drawings. 'The centerline of the shaft' is equivalent to 'the axis of the shaft'.
