تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. هنگام توصیف رفتار اخلاقی یا موقعیت اجتماعی با decent قابل جابجایی است؛ مثلا 'یک آدم محترم' یا 'یک آدم شایسته'. برای تأکید روی شهرت خوب به کار میرود.
Common. Interchangeable with 'decent' when describing moral behavior or social standing — e.g. 'a respectable person' or 'a decent person'. Used to emphasize good reputation.
رایج. در خصوص شخصیت اخلاقی با decent مشترک است ولی تاکید honest روی صداقت است. همیشه قابل جایگزینی نیست؛ 'decent person' معنای کلیتری دارد.
