تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
فنی. «روتور» به قسمت چرخان یک ماشین، اغلب با پره، مانند هلیکوپتر اشاره دارد. در حالی که ملخ نوعی روتور است، «روتور» اصطلاح گستردهتری است. در همه زمینهها قابل جایگزینی نیست (مثلاً روتور هلیکوپتر در مقابل ملخ قایق).
