تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. وقتی به دور هم جمع شدن افراد اشاره دارد قابل جایگزینی است ولی meeting کلیتر و رسمیتر از rendezvous نیست. مثلاً meeting کاری رایج است اما rendezvous کاری نیست.
Common. Interchangeable when referring to people coming together, but 'meeting' is more general and less formal than 'rendezvous'. For example, 'business meeting' works but not 'business rendezvous'.
رایج و رسمی. بیشتر برای ملاقاتهای رسمی یا برنامهریزی شده استفاده میشود و کمتر برای نشستهای غیررسمی یا مخفی مناسب است.
