Informal. Similar to sexpot, implying someone strikingly attractive and sensational, often specifically a woman. Can be interchangeable for a person who creates a strong, often sexual, impact. 'She walked into the room like a bombshell.'

Formal/literary. Emphasizes the act of seduction and temptation, often with manipulative intent. 'Sexpot' is more about inherent sexual appeal. Not interchangeable if the manipulative aspect is not present.
