علامت یا نشانهای که شخص بهعنوان نام خود نوشته و برای شناسایی یا تأیید به کار میرود.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. بیشتر به امضای افراد مشهور گفته میشود و در متنهای رسمی جایگزین امضا نمیشود.
Formal. Mainly refers to signatures of famous people collected as keepsakes. Not interchangeable in official contexts.
معمولی. به حروف اول نام اشاره دارد که در امضا به جای کل نام استفاده میشود.
Common. Refers to first letters of a name used in signing; sometimes used instead of a full signature.
