روزمره. رایجترین و کلیترین اصطلاح برای کسی که در هر رقابت یا مسابقهای موفق میشود. در بیشتر بافتهای غیررسمی با 'victor' قابل تعویض است، اما 'victor' لحنی کمی رسمیتر یا باشکوهتر دارد و اغلب به معنای یک مبارزه است. 'برنده مسابقه' درست است، 'فاتح نبرد' درست است.
Everyday. The most common and general term for someone who succeeds in any competition or contest. Interchangeable with 'victor' in most casual contexts, but 'victor' carries a slightly more formal or grand tone, often implying a struggle. 'The winner of the race' works, 'The victor of the battle' works.

Only interchangeable with 'victor' when referring to military conquest or a very significant, historical victory. 'Alexander the Great was a conqueror' works, 'The conqueror of the chess game' does not.
