مجموعه کلماتی که یک فرد یا گروه خاص میشناسد و استفاده میکند.
All the words known and used by a particular person or group of people.
«او برای سنش دایره لغات غنیای دارد.»
“He has a rich vocabulary for his age.”
«واژگان استفاده شده در سند بسیار فنی بود.»
“The vocabulary used in the document was very technical.”
تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. اغلب به واژگان یک زبان، رشته یا فرهنگ لغت خاص اشاره دارد. 'لغتنامه پزشکی' صحیح است، 'واژگان شخصی او' ممکن است اما کمتر از vocabulary رایج است.
Formal/Technical. Often refers to the vocabulary of a particular language, field, or dictionary. 'Medical lexicon' works, 'her personal lexicon' is possible but less common than 'vocabulary'.
فنی. لیستی از کلمات تخصصی و تعاریف آنها که معمولاً در انتهای یک کتاب یا سند یافت میشود. در مورد دانش واژگان شخصی یک فرد قابل جایگزینی نیست.
Technical. A list of specialized words and their definitions, usually found at the end of a book or document. Not interchangeable when referring to someone's personal word knowledge.

A list or collection of words, often with their definitions, compiled for a specific purpose (e.g., a dictionary).

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. کتاب یا منبع الکترونیکی که کلمات یک زبان را با معانی آنها فهرست میکند. کلیتر و شناختهشدهتر از vocabulary در این مفهوم است.
Everyday. A book or electronic resource listing words of a language with their meanings. More general and widely known than 'vocabulary' in this sense.
روزمره. کتاب مرجعی که کلمات را بر اساس شباهت معنایی (مترادف و متضاد) فهرست میکند. با لیست واژگان کلی متفاوت است.
Everyday. A reference book listing words grouped by similarity of meaning (synonyms and antonyms). Distinct from a general vocabulary list.
