تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره/عمومی. در حالی که 'assassination' نوعی کشتار است، 'killing' بسیار گستردهتر است و فاقد زمینه خاص سیاسی/شخصیت برجسته است. نمیتوانید به جای 'کشتارهای زیادی روزانه اتفاق میافتد' بگویید 'ترورهای زیادی روزانه اتفاق میافتد'.
Everyday/general. While 'assassination' is a type of killing, 'killing' is much broader and lacks the specific political/prominent person context. You cannot say 'many assassinations happen daily' instead of 'many killings happen daily'.
رسمی/قانونی. به معنای کشتاری است که از نظر قانونی یا رسمی مجاز است، معمولاً به عنوان مجازات. فاقد ماهیت پنهانی یا غیرقانونی ترور است. 'مجرم با اعدام روبرو شد' درست است، اما 'رئیس جمهور با اعدام روبرو شد' نه.
Formal/legal. Implies a legal or officially sanctioned killing, typically as a punishment. It lacks the clandestine or illicit nature of an assassination. 'The criminal faced execution' works, but not 'The president faced execution'.
