تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. بیشتر به کنارهگیری از مقام اشاره دارد، کمتر به ترک فیزیکی. مثلاً 'abdicate the throne' مناسب است؛ 'desert the post' متفاوت است.
Formal. Usually refers to renouncing a throne or position, less physical abandonment than desertion. 'Abdicate the throne' works; 'desert the post' is different in context.
رسمی/سیاسی. وقتی گروه یا کشور را ترک میکنند برای گروه دیگری، معمولاً به دلایل سیاسی. در معنی ترک وظیفه نظامی قابل جایگزینی نیست.
Formal/Political. Used when leaving one group or country for another, often for political reasons. Not interchangeable in military neglect sense.
