سلامی که هنگام دیدار یا جلب توجه به کسی گفته میشود.
A greeting used when meeting or acknowledging someone.
«سلام! امروز چطوری؟»
“Hello! How are you today?”
«وقتی وارد اتاق شد، سلام کرد.»
“She said hello when she entered the room.”
غیررسمی. در موقعیتهای غیررسمی جایگزین hello میشود — مثلاً هم Hi there! و هم Hello there! درست است. بیشتر در میان دوستان.
Informal. Interchangeable with 'hello' in casual contexts — e.g. 'Hi there!' and 'Hello there!' both work. Used mostly among friends or in informal settings.
رسمی/ادبی. کمتر در مکالمات روزمره استفاده میشود، در نوشتار یا سخنرانی رسمی به کار میرود. در محیطهای غیررسمی جایگزین نیست.
Formal/literary. Less common in daily conversation, used in writing or formal speech. Not interchangeable in casual settings.

رسمی. به هر نوع استقبال یا قدردانی اطلاق میشود. در زمینههای رسمی یا نوشتاری جایگزین hello میشود ولی در گفتار غیررسمی کمتر کاربرد دارد.
