تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. برای توصیف زمینهای نرم و موجدار مشابه hilly استفاده میشود اما معمولاً شیب نرمتری دارد.
Common. Often used to describe gently undulating land similar to hilly but usually smoother; interchangeable in some geographic contexts but rolling suggests softer slopes.
رسمی/فنی. برای توصیف زمین موجدار و نرم استفاده میشود؛ کمتر از hilly در مکالمه روزمره رایج است.
Formal/technical. Describes land with a wavy, smoothly rising and falling surface; more technical than 'hilly' and less common in daily speech.
