تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
فنی/خاص. نوعی فروزش که در آن انتشار نور پس از حذف منبع تحریک ادامه مییابد (مثلاً اسباببازیهای شبتاب). با فروزش به طور کلی قابل تعویض نیست، زیرا فسفرسانس زیرمجموعهای از آن است. 'عقربههای ساعت فسفرسانس نشان دادند' اما 'بیولومینسانس نوعی فروزش است'.
Technical/Specific. A type of luminescence where light emission continues after the excitation source is removed (e.g., glow-in-the-dark toys). Not interchangeable with luminescence in general, as phosphorescence is a subset. 'The clock hands showed phosphorescence' but 'bioluminescence is a type of luminescence'.
