تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. منطقهی تالابی مشابه ولی اغلب با درختان و درختچهها بیشتر. وقتی باتلاق جنگلی است swamp بهکار میرود؛ marsh بیشتر باز و علفزار است.
Common. Similar wetland area but often with more trees and shrubs. Use 'swamp' when referring to forested wetlands; 'marsh' is more open and grassy.
رایج. نوعی سرزمین باتلاقی با خاک اسیدی و پیت. خاصتر از marsh و اغلب کمتر علفی و بیشتر خزهای.
Common. A type of wetland with acidic, peaty soil. More specific than 'marsh' and usually less grassy, more mossy.
