تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج/روزمره. متداولترین واژه برای لکه کوچک و تیره روی پوست است و در بافتهای غیرپزشکی معمولاً به جای nevus به کار میرود. 'او روی گونهاش خال دارد' درست است، 'او روی گونهاش نووس دارد' بالینیتر به نظر میرسد.
Common/everyday. This is the most common term for a small, dark spot on the skin, often used interchangeably with nevus in non-medical contexts. 'She has a mole on her cheek' works, 'She has a nevus on her cheek' sounds more clinical.

Common/everyday. Refers specifically to a mark present from birth. While a nevus can be a birthmark, not all moles are, and 'birthmark' implies congenital origin more strongly than 'nevus'. 'He has a birthmark on his arm' works, 'He has a nevus on his arm' is technically correct but less common for a layperson.
