رسمی. به زبانی اطلاق میشود که به مقدسات بیاحترامی میکند یا صرفاً گستاخانه/مبتذل است. در مورد زبان توهینآمیز قابل تعویض است، اما 'obscenities' اغلب بار معنایی جنسی قویتری دارد.
Formal. Refers to language that is disrespectful of sacred things or simply rude/vulgar. Interchangeable when referring to offensive language, but 'obscenities' often has a stronger sexual connotation. 'He uttered profanities' vs 'He shouted obscenities'.
