متداول/روزمره. عموماً به غذای باقیمانده از یک وعده غذایی اشاره دارد، اما میتواند برای سایر اقلام کوچک باقیمانده نیز به کار رود. 'We had leftovers from dinner' درست است. 'These fabric oddments are too small' در زمینه خیاطی بهتر از 'These fabric leftovers are too small' به نظر میرسد.
Common/everyday. Generally refers to food remaining after a meal, but can also apply to other small remaining items. 'We had leftovers from dinner' works. 'These fabric oddments are too small' sounds better than 'These fabric leftovers are too small' in a sewing context.
