Everyday. Broader than 'pester', referring to any kind of irritation, not necessarily persistent. 'The loud music annoyed me' (not pestered). 'He kept annoying me with questions.'

Formal/Legal. Implies more severe, aggressive, or repeated unwanted actions, often with a sexual or discriminatory connotation. 'The employee was harassed at work.' Not typically used for minor nuisances.
