رسمی. معمولاً قویتر و شدیدتر از sorrow است و بیشتر به مرگ مربوط میشود. در موقعیتهای جدی جایگزین sorrow میشود اما در همه موارد آن نیست.
Formal. Generally stronger and more intense than 'sorrow', often related to death. Works for 'sorrow' in serious emotional loss contexts but not all 'sorrow' contexts.
روزمره و عمومی. حسی گستردهتر و سبکتر از sorrow است. در موارد خفیف جایگزین میشود اما در موارد عمیق یا جدی خیر.
Common/everyday. A broader and lighter feeling than sorrow. Can replace 'sorrow' in mild cases but not when deep or serious emotion is meant.

رسمی. بیشتر برای سوگواری یا از دست دادن جدی استفاده میشود. معمولاً جایگزین صحیحی برای فعل sorrow است اما غمی طولانیتر یا شدیدتر را دلالت میکند.
Formal. Used especially for mourning or serious loss. Can usually replace sorrow as a verb but often implies a longer or more intense grief.
رسمی/ادبی. به معنی احساس غم و اظهار آن به صورت بلند است. دراماتیکتر از فعل sorrow است.
Formal/literary. Implies both feeling sorrow and expressing it aloud. More dramatic than sorrow verb.
