متداول. زمانی که درباره یک منطقه صحبت میشود میتواند جایگزین territory شود اما land معنای کلیتری دارد و همیشه کنترل یا مالکیت را نمیرساند؛ مثلاً territory بر کنترل تأکید دارد، land ممکن است بدون مالک باشد.
