تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
کلمهی رایج و روزمره. در زمینههای کلی که از چیزی ناخواسته صحبت میشود مثل «مهمانان ناخواسته» قابل جایگزینی با undesirable است، و رسمیتر نیست.
Common everyday word. Interchangeable with 'undesirable' in general contexts describing things not wished for, e.g. 'unwanted guests'. Less formal than 'undesirable'.
رسمی و رایج. بیشتر به افراد یا چیزهایی گفته میشود که پذیرفته یا دعوت نشدهاند، مثلاً «بازدیدکننده ناخوانده». گاهی مودبانهتر از undesirable است.
Formal and common. Refers mostly to people or things not accepted or invited, e.g. 'unwelcome visitor'. Sometimes more polite than 'undesirable'.
