رایج. وقتی بیعلاقگی یا بیتوجهی مد نظر است، جایگزین uninterested میشود. مثل He was indifferent to the outcome. اما ممکن است در توصیف بیتفاوتی عاطفی کاربرد متفاوتی داشته باشد.
Common. Can replace 'uninterested' when describing lack of concern or care. 'He was indifferent to the outcome' works; however, 'She was indifferent to the lecture' may suggest emotional detachment rather than lack of curiosity.
رسمی/رایج. بیعلاقگی یا بیحسی شدیدتر را نشان میدهد. در اغلب موارد با uninterested قابل جابجایی است.
Formal/common. Suggests a deeper emotional lack of interest or feeling. Interchangeable with 'uninterested' in many contexts, especially formal. 'The audience seemed apathetic' vs 'uninterested' are similar.
