رسمی. عمل گرفتن کسی یا چیزی با زور. در برخی زمینهها، به ویژه هنگام اشاره به تصرف اجباری قدرت یا دارایی، میتواند به جای هم استفاده شود، اما 'seizure' میتواند به حملات ناگهانی بیماری نیز اشاره کند. 'تصرف قدرت' درست است، 'غصب تاج و تخت' درست است.
