Formal/common. Often implies bold or daring behavior, sometimes with a negative connotation of disrespect. Can be used interchangeably with 'brass' in this sense. 'He had the audacity to ask' works, 'he had the brass to ask' is more informal.
غیررسمی. شبیه 'brass' به معنای جسارت بیشرمانه است، اغلب در عباراتی مانند 'have the nerve to' استفاده میشود. در گفتار غیررسمی رایجتر است. «تو خیلی پررویی» رایج است، «تو خیلی گستاخی» نیز استفاده میشود اما کمتر.
Informal. Similar to 'brass' in meaning impudent boldness, often used in phrases like 'have the nerve to'. More common in informal speech. 'You've got a lot of nerve' is common, 'you've got a lot of brass' is also used but less so.
