Formal. To fulfill or accept (an obligation or promise). 'The bank honors all valid checks.' Interchangeable when the financial institution accepts and processes the negotiable instrument.

Formal. Exchanges (something) for money or other goods. 'She redeems coupons for discounts.' Can be interchangeable, especially for non-check instruments like vouchers or gift cards.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره/رسمی. مجموعهای از پول که برای هدف خاصی ذخیره یا در دسترس قرار گرفته است. در هنگام اشاره به پول فیزیکی موجود برای استفاده، قابل تعویض است.
Everyday/Formal. A sum of money saved or made available for a particular purpose. 'The company has sufficient funds.' While 'funds' can include non-physical money, it is interchangeable when referring to available physical money for use.
روزمره/فنی. سیستمی از پول رایج در یک کشور خاص. 'Currency' به سیستم یا نوع پول اشاره دارد که میتواند به شکل نقد باشد. برای 'پول فیزیکی' کمتر مستقیم است.
Everyday/Technical. A system of money in general use in a particular country. 'Foreign currency exchange rates.' 'Currency' refers to the system or type of money, which can be in cash form. Less direct for simply 'physical money'.
