یک اصطلاح قدیمی برای ابراز تحقیر یا رد کردن، به ویژه با ریشه فرانسوی.
An archaic exclamation of contempt or dismissal, especially of French origin.
«لعنت بر ایدههای احمقانهاش!»
“Foutra on his silly ideas!”
«او فریاد زد 'به درک!' و با تکان دست پیشنهاد را رد کرد.»
“'Foutra!' he exclaimed, dismissing the suggestion with a wave of his hand.”
غیررسمی/کودکانه. ابراز کمی تحقیر یا رد کردن. 'پوف، نمیخواهم بروم' رایجتر از 'فوترا، نمیخواهم بروم' است.
Informal/childish. Expresses mild disdain or dismissal. 'Pooh, I don't want to go' is more common than 'Foutra, I don't want to go.'
غیررسمی/منسوخ. ابراز تحقیر یا مخالفت. مشابه 'پوف' اما میتواند قویتر باشد. 'بهبه، چه مزخرفی!' قابل فهمتر از 'فوترا، چه مزخرفی!' است.
Informal/dated. Expresses contempt or disagreement. Similar to 'pooh' but can be stronger. 'Bah, what nonsense!' is more understandable than 'Foutra, what nonsense!'.
