روزمره. شبیه است ولی بیشتر روی خیس شدن زیاد تاکید دارد تا غوطهوری کامل — «او توسط باران خیس شده بود» بهتر است. معمولاً غیررسمی و درباره خیس بودن، نه فرو رفتن کامل.
Everyday. Similar but focuses on being very wet rather than fully under liquid — 'She was drenched by the rain' fits better. More casual and often about wetness, not complete submersion.
