رایج. اصطلاح گستردهتر برای کسی که زیاد فکر میکند. 'متفکر' میتواند درباره مسائل بیرونی یا احساسات دیگران باشد، در حالی که 'introspective' به طور خاص به فکر کردن درباره خود اشاره دارد. کسی میتواند 'متفکر' باشد بدون اینکه 'introspective' باشد (مثلاً متفکر نسبت به دیگران).
Common. A broader term for someone who thinks a lot. 'Thoughtful' can be about external matters or others' feelings, while 'introspective' specifically means thinking about oneself. Someone can be 'thoughtful' without being 'introspective' (e.g., thoughtful of others).

Formal/literary. Given to deep thought or meditation. 'Contemplative' often implies a calm, reflective state, which can be about anything, not just oneself. While an introspective person might be contemplative, not all contemplative people are introspective.
