رسمی. بیشتر برای خلق آثار هنری یا اصیل به کار میرود، کمتر برای ساختنهای روزمره. مثلا «create a painting» درست است ولی «make a sandwich» خیر.
Formal. Used often for original or artistic creation, less in everyday physical making. 'Create a painting' works but 'make a sandwich' does not.
روزمره. معمولا برای ساخت سازههای بزرگ یا فیزیکی به کار میرود. وقتی منظور سر هم کردن جسمی است میتواند جایگزین make شود. مثلا «build a house» اما «make a cake» قابل تعویض نیستند.
Common. Usually refers to constructing large or physical structures. Interchangeable with 'make' when referring to physical assembly. 'Build a house' vs 'make a cake', not interchangeable.

To cause something to happen or to be
«این دارو باعث میشود احساس بهتری داشته باشم.»
“This medicine makes me feel better.”
«صدای بلند باعث میشود تمرکز سخت شود.»
“Loud noise makes it hard to concentrate.”
رسمی. معمولا در موارد به وجود آوردن نتیجه استفاده میشود و کمتر در مکالمه عادی. مثلا «cause a problem» بهتر از «make a problem» است.
Formal. Often interchangeable with 'make' when referring to causing an effect, but less used in casual speech. 'Cause a problem' fits better than 'make a problem'.
روزمره. وقتی باعث تغییر یا وضعیتی میشود بکار میرود. مثلا «bring change» رایج است ولی جایگزینی با make بستگی به متن دارد.
Common. Can be used similarly when causing a change or condition. 'Bring change' is a frequent phrase but context-dependent for interchangeability with make.

رایج. وقتی درباره درآمد است معمولا قابل تعویض با make است. «Earn money» رسمیتر اما هردو رایجاند.

To force or cause someone to be in a certain condition or place
«آنها او را وادار به عذرخواهی کردند.»
“They made him apologize.”
«او مرا مجبور کرد بیرون منتظر بمانم.»
“She made me wait outside.”
رسمی یا غیررسمی. وقتی به معنی اجبار است مترادف است. مثلا «Force someone to leave» میتواند جایگزین «make» باشد.
Formal or informal. Synonymous when implying compulsion or causation. 'Force someone to leave' can replace 'make' in same context.

رایج. وقتی منظور آماده کردن غذاست معمولا با make قابل تعویض است. «Make dinner» و «cook dinner» هر دو رایجاند.
