اسم — ویلانل (فرم شعری)
یک فرم شعری نوزده خطی متشکل از پنج بند سه بیتی و به دنبال آن یک بند چهار بیتی است. این فرم دارای دو قافیه و دو ترجیعبند است، به طوری که خط اول و سوم بند اول به صورت متناوب به عنوان ترجیعبند در انتهای بندهای بعدی و سپس در انتهای بند چهار بیتی تکرار میشوند.
A nineteen-line poetic form consisting of five tercets (three-line stanzas) followed by a quatrain (four-line stanza). There are two rhymes and two refrains, with the first and third lines of the first tercet alternating as the refrain at the end of the subsequent tercets and concluding the quatrain.

کلی. 'Poem' ردهای کلی است. 'Villanelle' نوع خاصی از شعر است. قابل جایگزینی نیست؛ ویلانل یک شعر است، اما همه اشعار ویلانل نیستند.
General. 'Poem' is the overarching category. A 'villanelle' is a specific type of poem. Not interchangeable; a villanelle is a poem, but not all poems are villanelles.
