روشی مودبانه یا رسمی برای پرسیدن اینکه آیا فرد مایل یا آماده انجام کاری هست یا خیر.
A polite or formal way to ask someone if they want or are willing to do something.
«لطفاً پنجره را ببندید.»
“Would you please close the window?”
«مایلید چای بنوشید؟»
“Would you like some tea?”
مودبانه/رسمی. هنگام درخواست مودبانه میتواند جایگزین would you شود؛ مثلا 'آیا میتوانید کمکم کنید؟' مشابه 'Would you help me?' است. 'Could you' بیشتر بر امکان انجام تاکید دارد.
Polite/formal. Interchangeable with 'would you' when making requests politely, e.g. 'Would you help me?' and 'Could you help me?' work similarly. 'Could you' emphasizes possibility more than willingness.
غیررسمی/مودبانه. برای درخواستها یا تعهدهای مستقیم استفاده میشود، مثلا 'خواهی آمد؟' کمی کمتر رسمی از 'Would you come?' است و حالت فوریتر دارد.
Informal/polite. Often used for direct requests or promises, e.g. 'Will you come?' is slightly less formal than 'Would you come?'. May sound more immediate.
