رایج. یک احساس کلیتر از غم یا ناامیدی در مورد چیزی که اتفاق افتاده است. میتواند در بافتهای مشابه 'apologies' استفاده شود اما اغلب به معنای مسئولیت کمتر مستقیم یا احساس منفعلتر است. «تأسف من بابت از دست دادن رویداد» رایج است.
Common. A more general feeling of sadness or disappointment about something that happened. Can be used in similar contexts to 'apologies' but often implies a less direct responsibility or a more passive feeling. 'My regrets about missing the event' is common.

Common. Reasons offered to explain why something happened or to mitigate blame. Can be used to avoid apologies or alongside them, but not a direct synonym for the act of apologizing. 'He made excuses' is different from 'He offered apologies.'
