رسمی. به معنای سمت خشکی، بهویژه از دریا. بیشتر در زمینههای دریانوردی یا جغرافیایی به کار میرود و در برخی زمینهها با ashore جایگزین میشود ولی در گفتار روزمره کمتر استفاده میشود.
Formal. Means toward the land, especially from the sea. Used mainly in navigation or geographic contexts, interchangeable with 'ashore' in some contexts but less common in everyday speech.
