رایج. اغلب به جای council بهکار میرود وقتی اشاره به گروهی برای وظایف خاص است اما کمیتهها معمولاً کوچکتر و تخصصیتر هستند؛ مثلاً «کمیته مالی» در مقابل «شورای شهر».
Common. Often interchangeable with council when referring to a group assigned to specific tasks, but committees may be smaller and more specialized; e.g. 'a finance committee' vs. 'a city council'.
رسمی. برای گروههایی که سازمان یا شرکت را اداره میکنند به کار میرود و معمولاً به شوراهای دولتی نمیگویند؛ مثلاً «هیئت مدیره» در مقابل «شورای شهر».
Formal. Used for groups governing organizations or companies, not usually for government councils; e.g. 'board of directors' vs. 'city council'.

Formal. Refers to a group gathered for deliberation or legislation; interchangeable in some contexts like 'council assembly', but assembly can be broader; e.g. 'legislative assembly' vs. 'tribal council'.
فنی/مذهبی. خاص شوراهای برخی کلیساهای مسیحی است؛ در خارج از زمینه مذهبی قابل جایگزینی نیست.
Technical/religious. Used specifically for councils in some Christian churches; not interchangeable outside religious contexts.
