Pain in the groins صحیح است، Pain in the crotches برای درد آناتومیکی کمتر رایج است. The crotches of the pants were worn out صحیح است، The groins of the pants صحیح نیست.
Medical/anatomical. 'Groin' is more specific to the area of the body where the thigh meets the abdomen. 'Crotch' can also refer to the corresponding part of clothing. 'Pain in the groins' works, 'Pain in the crotches' is less common for anatomical pain. 'The crotches of the pants were worn out' works, 'The groins of the pants' does not.
