رایج. بسیار شبیه discouraged است و وقتی صحبت از از دست دادن امید یا اعتماد به نفس است میتواند جایگزین خوبی باشد، مثلاً «او از نتایج دلسرد شد». در هر دو زمینه رسمی و غیررسمی کاربرد دارد.
Common. Very similar to 'discouraged', can often replace it when talking about loss of hope or confidence, e.g. 'She was disheartened by the results.' Works well in both formal and informal contexts.
رسمی/غیررسمی. بیشتر بر از دست دادن روحیه تأکید دارد و از discouraged قویتر است، مانند «تیم پس از شکست بیانگیزه شد». میتواند جایگزین discouraged شود اما بار عاطفی سنگینتری دارد.
Formal/informal. Emphasizes loss of spirit or morale, often stronger feeling than 'discouraged', e.g. 'The team was demoralized after the defeat.' Can replace discouraged but carries a heavier emotional weight.
