Common. 'Exploitative' and 'exploitive' are interchangeable and mean exactly the same thing. 'Exploitative' is slightly more common in formal writing, but both are fully acceptable.

Formal. Describes something that lives off another, usually to the detriment of the host. Implies a relationship where one benefits entirely from the resources of another without contributing. This is a strong form of exploitation.
