رسمی. زمانی که بخواهیم اهمیت موضوع را در صحبت یا نوشته برجسته کنیم جایگزین highlight میشود، مثلاً «تأکید کردن بر مسئله». برای علامتگذاری متن به کار نمیرود.
Formal. Can replace 'highlight' when stressing importance in speech or text, e.g. 'emphasize the issue'. Not used for marking text.
متداول. معمولاً وقتی به معنای مشخص کردن نکات مهم در متن باشد قابل جایگزینی است، مثلاً «زیرخط کشیدن نکات کلیدی».
Common. Often interchangeable when meaning making something important in text obvious, e.g. 'underline the key points'.
روزمره. وقتی به بهترین یا بالاترین بخش اشاره دارد جایگزین مناسبی است، مثلاً «اوج نمایش».
Everyday. Interchangeable when referring to the highest or best part, e.g. 'the peak of the show'.
متداول. وقتی اشاره به بخش برجسته یا خاص باشد جایگزین مناسبی است، مثلاً «بهترین ویژگی نمایش».
Common. Can replace when referring to a notable or special part, e.g. 'the show’s best feature'.
متداول. معنی مشابه دارد اما معمولاً برای نور یا براقی مستمر به کار میرود نه یک نقطه خاص.
Common. Similar meaning but usually used for continuous light or glossiness rather than a specific spot.
رسمی. در زمینه نور که از سطح بازتاب مییابد به کار میرود و فقط در بافت هنری یا فنی قابل جایگزینی است.
Formal. Related to light bouncing off surfaces, interchangeable only in technical/art contexts.

Informal. Often used for a thin line or patch of different color in hair, can replace highlight in casual contexts.
