فرآیند مایع کردن یا مایع شدن. در زمینشناسی به فرآیندی گفته میشود که طی آن خاک یا ماسه اشباع و غیرمتراکم در اثر فعالیت لرزهای یا بارگذاری سریع دیگر، به مادهای تبدیل میشود که مانند مایع رفتار میکند.
