معمولی. عمومیترین و رایجترین اصطلاح برای روح یک فرد مرده. 'Phantoms' میتواند روح باشد، اما 'ghost' همیشه کیفیت توهمی یا غیرواقعی را که 'phantom' میتواند داشته باشد، ندارد.
Common. The most general and commonly used term for the spirit of a dead person. 'Phantoms' can be a ghost, but 'ghost' does not always imply the illusive or unreal quality that 'phantom' can.
ادبی. شبیه روح، اغلب به معنای ظاهری ترسناک یا تهدیدآمیز است. 'Specter' اغلب حسی شومتر از 'phantom' دارد.
Literary. Similar to a ghost, often implying a frightening or menacing appearance. 'Specter' often has a more ominous feel than 'phantom'.
