Common. General term for stating what will happen in the future. 'Predict the weather' works, 'predict a disease' works. Broader than 'prognose' and can be used in almost any context of future events.

Common. Usually refers to predicting future trends or outcomes based on data or analysis, often in meteorology or economics. 'Forecast the market' works, 'forecast a disease' also works but is less common than 'prognose'.
