رسمی. در زمینه رد کردن حقیقت یا ادعاها میتواند جایگزین refusal شود، مثلاً denial of facts مناسب است ولی refusal of facts عجیب است. برای رد کردن ایدهها یا ادعاها به کار میرود.
Formal. Can replace 'refusal' in contexts of rejecting truth or claims — 'denial of facts' works, but 'refusal of facts' sounds odd. Used when rejecting ideas or claims.
رایج/رسمی. در بسیاری از موقعیتها با refusal قابل تعویض است، بهخصوص در رد رسمی یا اجتماعی — مثل rejection of an offer و refusal of an offer هر دو مناسبند. لحن کمی رسمیتر دارد.
Common/formal. Interchangeable with 'refusal' in many contexts, especially official or social rejection — 'rejection of an offer' and 'refusal of an offer' both work. Slightly more formal tone.
