تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/مذهبی. به معنای احساس غم عمیقتر، اغلب اخلاقی یا مذهبی، به خاطر اعمال فرد و تمایل به تغییر. 'توبه کردن از گناهانش' درست است. برای ناامیدیهای جزئی کمتر رایج است.
Formal/Religious. Implies a deeper, often moral or religious, feeling of sorrow for one's actions, and a desire to change. 'Repenting for his sins' works. Less common for minor disappointments.
