متداول. در بسیاری موارد به جای rite قابل استفاده است ولی ceremony گستردهتر و الزاماً مذهبی نیست. مثلاً 'wedding ceremony' رایجتر است.
Common. Often interchangeable with 'rite' when referring to formal events, but 'ceremony' is broader and not always religious. For example, 'wedding ceremony' works, 'wedding rite' is more formal and rare.
رسمی. معنای مشابه دارد ولی تمرکز روی تکرار و سنتی بودن دارد و خارج از دین هم به کار میرود.
