تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. رایجترین اصطلاح برای افزودن نمک به غذا یا برای نگهداری. 'Salt the meat' درست است، اما 'Salt the soil' از 'salinize' کمتر فنی است.
Everyday. The most common term for adding salt to food or for preserving. 'Salt the meat' works, but 'Salt the soil' is less technical than 'salinize'.
فنی/آشپزی. خیساندن یا نگهداری در آب نمک (شوراب). 'Brine the turkey' درست است، اما 'Brine the land' اشتباه است.
Technical/culinary. To soak or preserve in salty water (brine). 'Brine the turkey' works, but 'Brine the land' is incorrect.
