Formal/scientific. Often used for slow release of liquids or odors — 'secrete hormones' is common in biology, 'exude fragrance' for plants.
رسمی. در زمینههای علمی میتواند جایگزین secrete برای گازها یا نور باشد اما برای مایعات بدن خیر.
Formal. Can replace 'secrete' in scientific contexts when talking about gases or light, but not bodily fluids — 'emit light' works, 'emit enzymes' does not.
