متداول. عمومیترین اصطلاح برای والد نر، قابل استفاده برای انسان و حیوان. sire به طور خاص برای حیوانات، به ویژه در بافتهای پرورشی، یا برای خطاب محترمانه/کهن استفاده میشود.
Common. The most general term for a male parent, applicable to both humans and animals. 'Sires' is specifically used for animals, especially in breeding contexts, or for respectful/archaic address. 'He became a father last year' works, but you wouldn't say 'The horse became a father' in a formal breeding context where 'sire' is preferred.
رسمی/کهن. به حاکمان یا اشرافزادههای مرد قدرتمند اشاره دارد. در این معنی با sire دارای بار معنایی کهن و محترمانه است، اما lords به طور خاصتر به عناوین فئودالی یا اشرافی مربوط میشود.
Formal/archaic. Refers to powerful male rulers or nobles. It shares the archaic and respectful connotation with 'sires' in that sense, but 'lords' is more specifically about feudal or aristocratic titles. 'The lords of the kingdom gathered.' works, but you wouldn't use 'sires' to refer to multiple rulers in a kingdom unless directly addressing them.
