روزمره. وقتی روی بیان کلمات تمرکز باشد، قابل جایگزینی است. ولی 'tell' نیاز به مخاطب دارد. She told me the story درست است ولی She said the story ناقص است.
Everyday. Interchangeable with 'tell' when focusing on uttering words, but 'tell' requires specifying the listener. 'She told me the story' vs 'She said the story' (incomplete).
رسمی. برای دادن اطلاعات مهم یا رسمی کاربرد دارد و کمتر در مکالمات روزمره استفاده میشود.
Formal. Used mainly to convey official or important information, less common in casual talk. 'I informed her of the changes' unlike daily storytelling.

رسمی. دستور قویتر و رسمیتر از 'tell' است.
Formal. Implies a stronger, more official command than 'tell'. 'The captain ordered the crew to stop.'

Formal and military. Used for authoritative orders; less common in casual speech.

To distinguish or reveal information about something, often from evidence or signs.
«چهرهاش غمگینیاش را نشان میداد.»
“Her face told of her sadness.”

رسمی. برای نشان دادن نشانهها به کار میرود نه گفتار مستقیم.
Formal. Used to point out facts or signs rather than direct speech. 'The data indicates a rise.'

Formal/informal. To make previously unknown facts known, similar in meaning but stronger.
