تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رایج. یک اصطلاح عمومی و اغلب تند برای فقدان هوش. با thickheaded قابل جایگزینی است اما مستقیمتر و کمتر دارای ظرافت است. «آن اشتباه احمقانهای بود.» میتواند توهینآمیزتر باشد.
Common. A general and often harsh term for lack of intelligence. Interchangeable with 'thickheaded' but more direct and less nuanced. 'That was a stupid mistake.' It can be more offensive.

Informal. Similar to 'thickheaded' in meaning, implying a difficulty in grasping concepts quickly. Often used with a hint of exasperation. 'He's a bit dense sometimes.'
